By virtue of the MoU, holders of regular, diplomatic, special, and mission passports will be excluded from the necessity of getting a visa for international travel.

Instead of having to apply for an electronic visa, which was previously required, nationals of the United Arab Emirates who have had valid passports for a period of at least six months are exempt from the visa requirement for admission into Uzbekistan.
Additionally, they are permitted to stay in Uzbekistan for a period of up to thirty days during each visit.
In exchange, nationals of Uzbekistan who possess biometric passports (international passports that permit them to travel outside of Uzbekistan or domestic passports that only allow them to return to Uzbekistan) are exempt from the requirement of obtaining a visa in order to enter the United Arab Emirates.
