The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will begin implementing the new visa exemptions on 15 February of this year
Those traveling from Uzbekistan are now able to enter the United Arab Emirates without necessary visas.
According to the state news agency Wam, the two countries struck an agreement on Thursday that permits citizens of both countries to visit the other country without needing a visa for tourist, business, and short-term visits.
UAE approves visa-free travel for Uzbekistan
The United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of understanding with the intention of enhancing their bilateral relations and making it easier for people to travel between the two nations.
Khalid Abdullah Belhoul, who is the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Abdulaziz Akulov, who is the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, both signed the agreement.
Citizens of the United Arab Emirates will no longer be required to get a visa in order to go to Uzbekistan and remain there for a period of up to thirty days.
Citizens of Uzbekistan will also be able to travel to and remain in the United Arab Emirates for the same amount of time.
The newly implemented visa exemptions are scheduled to go into effect on February 15 of this year.
